A range of high quality counted thread embroidery kits designed and produced in Scotland, all carefully researched with regard to content and colour. Packed in clear bags with needle, thread, fabric, chart, photograph and instructions - some are on linen woven in Scotland, others on easy Aida cotton. The 'Classic Collection' has 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th Century designs, some based on museum study and real 'Heirlooms of the Future'. |
| To the very popular 'Map' series shown here we have added Arran, Kintyre, Trossachs, Loch Lomond, and Strathtay. Other places of interest include Pitlochry, Dunblane, Culross, Traquair, University of St Andrews, R & A St Andrews (for golfers!). Events such as weddings, anniversaries, and new babies are not forgotten, with the latest based on a Paisley 'kirking' shawl of the 1850's. Commissions accepted for special occasions. Catalogue, price list and terms by post. | ![]() |
| NEW ADDITIONS Glasgow University - celebrating 550 years in 2001. The Munros - a map of Scotland for mountaineers, with £1.00 donated to Mountain Rescue services for each kit sold. Stirling - The Royal Burgh, steeped in Scottish history. Perth - The Fair City, interesting landmarks, celebrating 'Britain in Bloom'. Dundee - City of Discovery, well known landmarks enclosed within a border of bridge girders and old street names, with reference to 'Jute, Jam & Journalism' and to today's 'discoverers' in the field of medical sciences. Soon hope to make all available as Chartpacks as well as in kit form. |
